Just installed the ir receiver in my pc, and one of the cords going to my board was bad and filled my shit with smoke.... trying to get it back up right now. Fuck god and baby jesus...

got it back up now, but my heart stopped, it was fucked up... ! thought ! smelled smoke after ! turned it on once, and it wouldn't boot, it just sat at boot screen.... So, ! opened the case and restarted it to see what was up, when ! was booting it my women called me in cause she finished dinner, ! went back after a few minutes and my pc was barreling out smoke... it was one of the scariest moments of my life, ! just built this bitch.... finally peeled all teh melted wire from my shit and restarted, and thank god the shit worked... antec was about to get firebombed if it didn't... and they still might...

it wasn't the PSU, it was the shitty IR Receiver ! put in my pc to control media center... ! thought it would be badass to to have an internal ir receiver instead of a box on the outside... then bamboolzement... the cords coming from the board to the receiver are fucked, ! figure there was a short or a cut in the wire and then it led to disaster shortly after...
